How sudoku stats are calculated
Sudoku Master tracks four core stats: your current daily streak, your best solve time per difficulty, the total number of sudoku puzzles you have solved, and your accuracy ratio (puzzles finished without exceeding the error budget). Everything is stored in your browser using local storage — no account, no server sync, no analytics.
The streak counter measures how many consecutive UTC days you have completed at least one daily sudoku. Miss a day and the streak resets to zero at midnight UTC. Best solve time is recorded per difficulty level, so easy, medium, and hard each have their own personal best.
The leaderboard above is shared across the network for today's daily sudoku puzzle. Times shown are anonymous and tied to player handles, sorted from fastest to slowest. Switch between difficulty tabs to see the leaderboard for easy, medium, hard, or all puzzles together. The daily leaderboard resets at midnight UTC when the new puzzle drops.
Achievements unlock as you hit milestones — solve a sudoku without hints, finish a hard puzzle, or run a long streak. They are progress markers, not gates: every feature of the game is available from day one. Play today's daily sudoku to add to your stats, or read more about how the daily sudoku puzzle works.
